[ The Construct ] was an English sludge metal band from Manchester in Lancashire, formed in 2009.
The Construct was formed in spring 2009 by Rory Vallely (guitars, ex I Remain), Al Shelley (drums, ex The Magpyes), and Darren Jones (guitars).
After writing most of its album “Titan” instrumentally, vocalist Alex Creamer (ex- I Remain, Dearly Beheaded), and bassist Ant Hurlock (ex Machiavellian) were recruited.
